At Phoenix, We recognize that inclusivity without protection is exploitation. For that reason, we actively protect this space and the people within it. Racism, sexism, xenophobia, transphobia, homophobia, and other forms of discrimination are not tolerated here.

We cultivate a space rooted in collaboration, reciprocity, and care. Every person who enters contributes to shaping the environment we share. Our culture thrives when dancers support one another, show up for each other, and actively pour into the collective experience. This space exists because of the mutual respect, accountability, and energy each dancer brings.

We strive to create a welcoming and affirming space where dancers of all all backgrounds, identities, body types, beliefs, and skill levels ages 18 and up.
EMPOWERMENT
Through dance, we encourage dancers to develop confidence, self-esteem, and ownership of their bodies and sensuality. We believe in personal development both on and off the dance floor, encouraging individuals to embrace their authenticity, celebrate their growth, and step fully into their power.
Legacy
Heels dance carries a rich cultural lineage rooted in jazz, street styles, commercial dance, and the influence of queer and femme performers who helped shape its evolution.
We honor that legacy by learning the history of the style, respecting its origins, and continuing to grow the art form with intention. Our responsibility is not only to dance, but to preserve, educate, and contribute meaningfully to the culture we are part of.
