XANDRA & MIAH

Board chair & Founder

How it all started

Founded by Miah Frisen (They/Them), the team was created as a welcoming space where people of all backgrounds and gender expressions could freely explore their sensuality and artistic expression. When Miah transitioned to new ventures, they entrusted the team’s leadership to Xandra Hidalgo-Aguerro (She/Her), committing to the vision. Months later, Xandra established a Board of Directors to help guide the team’s growth and direction, building on Miah’s foundational vision. Under this collaborative leadership, the team has blossomed into a thriving community hub.

Our Sister Team: HYPNOTIC

Our sister team, Hypnotic, stands as an extension of our shared passion for dance, specializing jazz funk. Together, we foster a united community where dancers can seamlessly transition between styles and explore new creative horizons. Led by the talented Sarah Rose Hazen, Hypnotic offers a unique opportunity for dancers within our collective to step outside the world of heels and immerse themselves in the bold, high-energy movements of jazz funk. As our sister team, Hypnotic reflects the same commitment to artistry and growth, where dancers can thrive across disciplines.
